TEX (Loyal, Loving, Active--Fostering in Wayne, NJ)

Hi, my name is Tex! I'm a 2-year-old, 35-pound Cattle Dog/Corgi mix with a whole lot of personality packed into my short legs. I was found abandoned in a rural area, but I'm ready to leave that behind and find my forever family. I'm a perfect blend of energy and cuddles, and I can't wait to share my life with you!

Ideal Home

I would love a home with a farm, acreage, or plenty of trails for hiking. I'm a loyal and protective boy, so I'll keep a watchful eye, but I warm up quickly and am all tail wags and charm once I know someone is a friend. I do best in an all-adult household or one with high school-aged children due to my herding instincts.

Ongoing Health

I'm neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on all my shots.

Training & Support

I'm already house and crate trained, and I'm a pro on the leash. I love a good hike and am an amazing car rider. I'm also super patient during bath time! I do have a tendency to want to chase cats, so a home without them would be best.
