Sapphire

Meet Sapphire! This lovely 4-year-old black lab mix is a real gem. She was rescued from the Dallas Animal Shelter along with her puppies. Sapphire is an energetic and sweet girl who is very food-motivated and learns quickly. She's already crate trained and knows that potty time is outside!

Ideal Home

Sapphire would do best with a patient and understanding family who can give her the time and space she needs to adjust to being a family pet. She gets along wonderfully with children, but would prefer to be with older kids. As she was likely mistreated and neglected in her past, she can be timid, especially around men, and needs time to warm up to new people and situations. Sapphire is dog selective and would be happiest as the only dog in the home.

Ongoing Health

Sapphire is up to date on her vaccines. She still needs to be spayed, and this will be a requirement of her adoption.

Training & Support

Sapphire is crate trained and knows to potty outside. Her new family will need to provide her with the patience, love, and attention she needs to truly blossom.
