About Darwin

Meet Darwin! Darwin is a snuggle puppy who loves to relax with his people, either curled up at your feet or on your lap. He enjoys playtime and chewing on his toys, though he's still learning that not everything is a chew toy. Darwin has been doing well with the resident dog in his foster home, but as a puppy, he's still learning to share. He's making great progress with house training and only has occasional accidents inside, especially with his foster family consistently rewarding him for pottying outdoors. Darwin is also a smart pup who is picking up commands like "down" quickly. He's decent with crate training, though he prefers to be with his family and have the freedom to play. He does eat in his crate and will go in to rest and nap. Darwin has been friendly with everyone he's met, including teenagers, but hasn't had much exposure to small children.

Ideal Home

Darwin would thrive in a home that can provide him with a consistent daily routine.

Ongoing Health

Darwin will be up-to-date on vaccinations and deworming at the time of adoption. He will also have a pre-scheduled appointment for spaying/neutering and microchipping, which the adopter is obligated to keep.

Training & Support

Darwin is still learning house training and appropriate chewing habits. He is also still getting used to his crate. He is a smart pup who will benefit from proper training and patience. A $50 training deposit is required and will be refunded upon proof of completion of a basic obedience class.
