Pauly D is the kind of dog that walks into a room like he already knows he's about to become everyone's favorite! He's got a larger-than-life personality that instantly pulls people in, equal parts charming, goofy, affectionate, and wildly entertaining. One minute he's making you laugh with his playful antics and dramatic expressions, the next he's leaning into you for affection like you're the most important person in the world. He has that rare combination of confident social butterfly energy mixed with genuinely sweet, loyal companionship, and it makes him ridiculously easy to love. There's just something about Pauly D that makes life feel more fun. Maybe it's his happy-go-lucky attitude, his constant enthusiasm for being included in literally anything, or the way he carries himself like the cool guy at the party while still being a total cuddle bug underneath it all. Whatever it is, this boy has the kind of feel-good personality that people remember long after meeting him. Pauly D is believed to be a German Shepherd mix, approximately 1 year old, and currently weighs 56 lbs.
Ideal Home
Pauly D would thrive in a home with a nice backyard for zoomies and humans who enjoy being active and involved with him. He'd do best with a confident adopter who enjoys walks, adventures, continued training, and having a dog that wants to be part of everything you're doing. He wants to be IN on the fun! A yard for zoomies, a couch for dramatic lounging sessions, and humans who love affection, laughter, and a little daily chaos in the best way would be his dream setup. He did seem a little unsure of younger children, so we think Pauly D would thrive most in a home with kids around 8 and up who can better understand his space, read his cues, and enjoy his playful, outgoing personality without overwhelming him. He would do best in a kitty-free home.
Ongoing Health
Pauly D is up-to-date on all vetting, which includes DAPP with booster, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, flea prevention, and a 12-month heartworm preventative injection. He has also had a heartworm test and treatment if needed, and a microchip with free lifetime registration.
Training & Support
Pauly D enjoys playtime with all types of toys and is happy to play fetch, bounce around the yard, or entertain himself with zoomies. He has a great off switch and can appreciate a solid couch crash after playtime. He has experience with crate training, potty training, and leash walking.

Pauly D is located in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system, ensuring every pet travels safely and comfortably with 24/7 care. Transport drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada (pick-up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). There is an $87 surcharge for transportation. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
