Rocket is pure sunshine in dog form! This outgoing, happy boy LOVES adventures, whether it’s long walks, cuddle sessions, or hopping in the car for a ride. His favorite move? Resting his nose sweetly on your shoulder as your perfect travel buddy. He’s already proven to be a social superstar. At a baseball watch party at a local bar, Rocket soaked up the attention and made friends with everyone he met. This boy truly knows no strangers! He has even met his foster mother’s 1-year-old granddaughter. He was a little excited to see her but still very sweet. Rocket got a couple more events out and again, was the star. He was constantly surrounded by people who couldn't resist his charm and dashing good looks - and certainly LOVED all of it! He's a big guy with strong muscles and even stronger spirit. He'd make the most perfect adventure buddy-walking, hiking, camping, riding in cars, etc.......He's up for it all!.......especially the snuggles afterwards. He's so much fun and sweet to love on. But Rocket’s journey hasn’t been easy. He and his two sisters were heartbreakingly left behind when their owners moved away. Despite it all, Rocket has held onto his big heart and even bigger smile, now he’s ready for the forever family he deserves.

- Rocket is eligible to receive 50% off training with Curbed Behaviors Dog Training for programs booked within 30 days of adoption, and 25% off programs booked within 60-90 days of adoption.
- All adopters are invited to join our “Alum Pupdates” Facebook group to share their story and their adorable pup with fellow adopters.
Transportation
Rocket is located in Houston, TX. Transport is available out of state. We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas to your state or a neighboring state. These are ground transports using third-party vehicles (vans/buses) converted for dog transport. Each adopter has the ability to track the van using the app Life360, and receives updates from transport along the way. Facebook chats are another resource to stay informed about tracking dogs on transport. Please be able to use one of these available services if you wish to follow your adopted dog on transport.
