Otis

Otis is a handsome shepherd mix with a larger-than-life personality and energy to keep you smiling (and moving!) all day long. If it involves a ball, a walk, wrestling with his canine friends, or simply being with his people, Otis is all in! This incredibly sweet boy wants nothing more than to be part of everything you do. He thrives on praise, attention, and play, and he's eager to learn and please. Otis already has a solid foundation – he's crate trained, housetrained when kept on a routine, knows commands like sit and wait, and is highly food motivated. Treats are definitely the way to his heart, although he's still working on taking them gently.

Ideal Home

Otis is great with other dogs and enjoys having canine companions to play and wrestle with. He also does well with children, but because of his size, energy level, and enthusiasm, he would do best in a home with older or bigger kids. He would thrive in an active home committed to ongoing training, daily exercise, and plenty of mental enrichment.

Otis is crate trained, housetrained when kept on a routine, and knows commands like sit and wait. He is still working on taking treats gently and can be pushy and bossy if boundaries aren't consistently enforced. If given too much freedom without guidance, Otis is more than happy to create his own fun – and that fun usually involves finding mischief!
