Lucki is a 2½-year-old Pit Bull Terrier mix with a big heart and an even bigger zest for life. True to his name, this boy is a bundle of joy and energy who lights up every room he enters. He’s friendly with people, great with other dogs, and absolutely adores making new friends. Playtime is his favorite time — whether it’s running around the yard, playing chase with canine buddies, or just bouncing with excitement when he meets someone new. Lucki already knows some basic commands, and while he’s still working on his manners (he can’t help but jump up in excitement when greeting new friends), his eagerness to please shines through. With consistency and structure, he’s going to thrive. Lucki isn’t neutered yet, and like many intact young dogs, he’s had a little trouble with marking indoors. We expect this to improve once he’s neutered and given the stability of a new home environment. He’s up to date on his shots and has been healthy since puppyhood. Cats are still an unknown for him, but he certainly has plenty of love to give to people and dogs alike. What Lucki needs most is a foster or foster-to-adopt home that can keep up with his energy, give him the guidance he craves, and welcome him as part of the family. In return, Lucki will bring endless laughter, adventure, and loyalty into your life. He’s goofy, affectionate, and so ready for a second chance — all he’s missing is someone to believe in him.

Lucki is not yet neutered and has had some indoor marking. This is expected to improve after neutering and settling into a new home. He is up to date on vaccinations and has been healthy since puppyhood.
Training & Support
Lucki can jump up when greeting new friends and is still working on his manners. Consistency and structure will help him succeed. Regression in house training is normal when transitioning to a new home.
