His energy levels are exceptionally high; he's not just looking for a walk, he's ready to become pure velocity when a ball is involved! He thrives with playmates and can be intense and passionate during his games.
Axel is also a profound lover. He desires to merge into his person's physical form and offers the ultimate cuddle experience, often acting as a living, breathing weighted blanket. He is deeply loyal and wants to be involved in every aspect of your life. He's highly impressionable and will happily adopt good habits from other dogs, but be aware that he may also pick up undesirable ones. Axel is a pro in his crate, settling down quietly for reflection. He can be a little anxious during car rides at first, but he settles in. He's well-behaved during vet visits and public outings, knowing when to apply his manners. His previous leg injury, which resulted in the removal of a toe, has fully healed, and he's back to operating at 100% chaos capacity. Cats and children are still a mystery.
