Meet Valentina! Valentina is a beautiful Black Mouth Cur mix, weighing about 45 lbs. She is calm, gentle, loyal, and noble—everything you could ever hope for in a best friend. While she may feel a little nervous around new people at first, once she feels safe, her sweet and trusting heart shines through. Valentina was born under a broken and abandoned house during freezing cold days, and wasn't expected to survive, but her strength, resilience, and will to live make her an incredibly special dog. She's waiting for someone who will give her the warmth and stability she's always deserved.
Ideal Home
Valentina would thrive in a home with experienced dog owners who have a background in dog behavior and training. She needs an active family that enjoys outdoor activities and has a high tolerance and patience for rescued puppies. A fenced backyard is preferred.
Ongoing Health
Valentina has been spayed/neutered, vaccinated (DHPPI, Rabies, Bordetella), and is up-to-date on deworming. She has tested negative for heartworm and comes with a health certificate and vaccination booklet.
Training & Support
Valentina is leash trained, crate trained, and house trained. She knows how to let you know when she needs to go outside. However, it is important to note that she is not house-trained. This is a common situation with rescued pets, and additional patience and training may be required to ensure she is fully house-trained.
