Callie

Meet Callie, a 4-year-old female Hound mix who is looking for a fresh start! Callie was surrendered to us at 7 months old and has been patiently waiting for her forever home for over 1,300 days. Her previous family didn't have much experience with puppies, which left Callie feeling a bit lost and unprepared for life. But don't worry, Callie is a determined girl and is making wonderful progress every day, learning that the world isn't so scary after all! She's a smart cookie, already knowing basic commands and keeping her kennel neat. We're also working with her on leash manners, and she's showing great improvement.

Ideal Home

Callie needs a dedicated and patient adopter who can give her the time and love she deserves to help her blossom. She would do best in a home without other pets, as she's been a single dog in our care and it has proven to be a good environment for her.

Ongoing Health

Callie is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. She has no known ongoing health conditions.

Training & Support

Callie is working on her leash manners and would benefit from continued positive reinforcement training to build her confidence. She's a quick learner and is eager to please, so with consistent guidance, she'll continue to thrive.
