Max Sterling is his name, puppy love and fun is his game! If there's water to splash in, a toy to carry, a trail to explore, or a new friend to greet, Max is already halfway there with a wagging tail and the kind of puppy enthusiasm that's impossible not to smile at. Equal parts cuddle buddy, adventure apprentice, and joyful little shadow, he's growing into the kind of dog who makes everyday life feel a little more fun simply by being part of it. Max is estimated to be around 4 months old and currently weighs 33 pounds. He looks every bit like a Weimaraner, possibly with a dash of Pit Bull mixed in. Max has a sleek silver coat, expressive amber eyes, and an athletic build. He is being fostered in a loving home where he's learning important skills to become a fantastic family dog. He has lovely house manners, walks nicely on leash, rides well in the car, and approaches new experiences with curiosity. He's eager to learn, highly treat motivated, and enjoys figuring out what you're asking of him. Max is wonderfully social and happily plays with dogs both big and small. New people are simply future friends waiting to say hello. Max is fairly certain water makes every activity better, so if your idea of a perfect weekend includes hikes, lake days, backyard sprinklers, or simply having a four-legged sidekick along for the ride, Max is ready to enthusiastically sign up.

Ongoing Health
Max has received all age-appropriate vetting, including DAPP vaccinations with boosters, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, flea prevention, and a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative. He has also been tested for heartworms.
Training & Support
Max has a wonderful foundation and is eager to learn. Continued positive training will help him become an incredibly well-rounded companion.

Max is located in Texas and transport is available nationwide. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. Canadian adopters can arrange pick-up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT.
