Piper

Meet Piper! This sweet and playful lady is about 5.5 to 6 years young and is ready to find her forever couch to snuggle on. Piper came to us as a stray and has undergone extensive, though ultimately successful, medical treatments including heartworm treatment and surgery for entropion, a condition where eyelashes roll inward and irritate the eye. She's now feeling fantastic and is all clear!

Piper is housebroken and mostly obedient, with a delightful mix of Smooth Collie and Husky in her DNA. While she enjoys playing with other dogs, she needs to be the only canine in her new home, as she can resource guard her food. She would absolutely love to have a person to call her own for cuddles and companionship.

Ideal Home

Piper would do best in a home where she is the only dog. She loves to snuggle and would be a perfect companion for someone seeking a devoted furry friend.

Ongoing Health

Piper has successfully completed heartworm treatment and had entropion surgery on one of her eyes. She is now healthy and feeling great.

Training & Support

Piper is housebroken and mostly obedient. She does resource guard her food, so a home with no other dogs is recommended to manage this behavior.
