Seth is an 11-year-old gentleman with the energy of a pup half his age! He was adopted in April 2015 and has been a beloved member of his family ever since. Seth has only known the comforts of indoor living and graciously shares his queen-size bed, along with two dog beds and a sofa. While he was crate-trained as a puppy, he now enjoys the freedom of roaming the house. He's a curious and intelligent fellow who loves to learn and has mastered commands like "sit," "up," "stop," and "come." Seth's zest for life shines through when he plays with his squeaky toys, hops and runs for his favorite friends, and enjoys a good game of fetch outside. He also loves car rides and exploring new places. Seth is a gentle soul who deserves to live out his golden years with someone who will love him unconditionally and be his protector, whether it's comforting him during a thunderstorm or reassuring him that the wind howling outside won't hurt him.
Ideal Home
Seth would thrive in a home with kind, patient humans who have a chill lifestyle and work schedule, allowing them to spend quality time with him during the day. He has done well with small dogs in the past but may also be content as the only fur-child. While he has been around children, he might do better with older kids who won't pull his ears or tail. He doesn't get along with feral cats but seems unfazed by cats at the vet or groomer's.
Ongoing Health
Seth has a touch of arthritis that can slow him down occasionally. He also has a sensitive stomach and is currently on a fresh chicken with bone broth diet. He would benefit from a home that can provide him with probiotics and joint supplements.
Training & Support
Seth is potty-trained and has learned multiple commands. He is accustomed to a potty schedule where he does not go more than 6 hours between outside potty breaks.
