Sunnie D is a force of pure joy, with two settings: delighted-happy-to-be-here and double-delighted-happy-to-be-here! She's estimated to be around a year old, weighs 36 lbs, and is a 100% purebred "sunshine puppy." This girl is the friend who wakes up ready to high-five the day, is always looking forward to making new friends, and is ready for anything, as long as snacks are involved! Sunnie D is endlessly happy and dog-friendly, with a playful "little sister" energy. She thrives on canine company and loves having a buddy to romp with, so she will need a dog friend in her new home. She's also a big fan of kids and loves being part of the action. Sunnie D can get a bit mouthy when excited, a sign of her big happy feelings, but she takes correction and direction well and is eager to learn. She was curious and excited when introduced to a cat, and with clear boundaries and consistent guidance, she can learn to be respectful and calm around felines.

Sunnie D is located in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue-run USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). An $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
