Chook AKA Chaz JuM

I'm Chook, but you can also call me Chaz JuM! I'm a handsome Bully Breed mix with a stunning red coat and ears that have a mind of their own. At about 42 pounds, I'm not the biggest pup, but I've got a heart full of personality! My journey to finding my forever home has been an adventure, but I landed with some amazing foster parents who happen to be professional dog trainers. Talk about a lucky break! They've been teaching me all sorts of cool tricks like "sit," "down," and my personal favorite, "place," and I'm a whiz with leash manners.

Ideal Home

I can be a little shy at first, but once I warm up, I'm a playful bundle of energy! I love to let my voice be heard and zoom around the backyard like a happy goofball. While I'd do well in a home with older teens, I need a home without young children because I can get a bit mouthy when I'm playing with my humans. I'm also super dog-friendly and would love to have canine siblings to romp with, though I can be a little pushy sometimes – but a gentle correction sets me straight! I haven't met any cats yet.

Training & Support

I’ve got some great foundation obedience skills thanks to my foster parents, and they'll even send home lessons to help me continue my training journey! I do have a mouthy play style that requires gentle guidance to ensure I play appropriately with my humans.
