Jimmy is a devoted two-year-old Hound/Labrador Retriever mix with a big heart and an unforgettable tricolor coat. His journey from the streets of Iraq to a life filled with love and hope is a testament to his resilience. He's a gentle, soulful pup who adores long walks, belly rubs, and soaking up affection. Loyal, cuddly, and ready to be your shadow, Jimmy is eager to be part of a family and is nailing it! Whether you're lounging on the couch or heading out for an adventure, Jimmy is your guy!

Ideal Home

Jimmy thrives in a calm, confident home and would do best as the only pup, where he can have all the love and space to himself. A fenced yard is a must where he can stretch his legs and chase a toy or two. He may be startled by sudden rear touches or loud yelling.

Ongoing Health

Jimmy is house-trained, fully vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Formal obedience training hasn’t been part of his past, but Jimmy is eager to please and learning new things daily. With the right guidance and continued positive reinforcement, he’s bound to blossom even more! He has done well with some dogs at parks and in boarding, though he can be selective with his canine companions.

Transportation

Jimmy is currently located in Willowbrook, IL. He is open to a long-distance adoption, and love knows no distance when finding your perfect companion! He will remain with his current family until a suitable new home is found for him.
