Callie

Callie is a 5-year-old Catahoula and Cattle Dog mix with a unique personality that shines through once she gets to know you. She's a loyal and loving companion who enjoys a good cuddle on the couch and a lazy day spent with her favorite bone. Callie is a smart girl who has proven to be house-trained and can even be trained for a kennel, although she prefers not to be in one. She loves treats and anything food-related, and while she's not a destructive chewer, she does enjoy a good stick or bone. Callie is also great with children and has been known to tolerate even the youngest of family members offering her treats.

Ideal Home

Callie would thrive in a home where she can be the only dog. She has shown a tendency to be wary of strangers initially, but warms up once she feels comfortable and senses gentleness. She also has a strong prey drive and has chased cats in the past, and she tends to react to small animals when outside. A home with no other pets, or at least no other dogs, would be ideal for her.
