Jessie

Jessie is a delightful 3-year-old mixed breed girl who weighs about 55 lbs. She arrived at the shelter under sad circumstances after her owner passed away and no family could take her in. Jessie experienced some anxiety in the shelter environment, showing stress panting and reluctance to return to her crate. Thankfully, a compassionate individual stepped forward to save her, and now Jessie is ready to find her forever home! She's a lovable pup full of personality, eager to be your constant companion, a true "Velcro-pup." Jessie enjoys walks, exploring, playing with toys, and has plenty of energy for zoomies, but she also loves to snuggle on the couch. She's a great car rider, always up for an adventure! Jessie is house and crate trained and walks well on a leash, though she does have a strong prey drive and will pull when she sees wildlife. She's also working on her walking speed. Jessie did well with other dogs at the shelter.

Ideal Home

Jessie would do best with older children (13+) and would love to have a feline sibling, as she has lived with cats before. She needs an active family with a fenced yard to accommodate her energy and prey drive.
