Meet Cream, the sweet and steady adventure buddy!
Cream is a happy, heartfelt boy who has blossomed beautifully from a nervous pup into a confident, playful companion. Found abandoned with his siblings and their mom along an I-35 feeder road, Cream has spent the last year in professional training, learning how to navigate the world with trust, courage, and curiosity. He currently lives with his trainers, getting daily refreshers while he waits for his forever family. Cream is a Shepherd Mix, approximately 2 years old, and weighs around 60 lbs.
Ideal Home
Cream will thrive with a family who wants an activity buddy and true companion. He’s worked hard to build his confidence, and he does best with a person who will continue practicing his training so he feels supported in new or overwhelming moments. He would love another dog in the home, but it isn’t required — the only must is that any resident dogs meet Cream first to ensure a good match. He’s the kind of dog who enjoys a trip to Tractor Supply, a pup cup treat, playtime with dog friends, and then a quiet nap pressed against your feet. He prefers gentle closeness over being hugged or held, and does best with respectful children ages 10+. He does not do well with yelling or aggressive tones, or chaotic environments when he’s somewhere new.

Cream is neutered, vaccinated, and up to date on preventions.
Training & Support
Cream is dog-friendly, kennel trained, house trained, and leash trained. He loves water, swimming, and toys. His trainers have worked extensively with him on building his confidence and navigating the world. Training is included with adoption through CoDa Canine Training, with ongoing support available.
