Twila - Pending

My name is Twila, and I'm a beautiful 6-year-old girl weighing in at 25 pounds. I came to Wags as a breeder release and am currently being fostered in Kansas City, KS. While I may not be the most outwardly affectionate at first, I do enjoy gentle pets of my velvety fur and love to snuggle with my foster mom, especially during nap time. My stomach is a big motivator, and I absolutely adore my meals!

Ideal Home

I'm looking for a quiet, adult-only home with patient humans who understand I need time to come out of my shell. I would love to have a canine sibling to share my home with, as I enjoy playing with my current foster siblings and have a lot of fun with them sometimes.

Ongoing Health

I'm happy to report I have no known special needs or health issues!

Training & Support

I'm still working on my house training and am not yet leash-trained, as I can be a bit skittish. We're making progress on leash walking, and I do wear a harness. I ride well in the car, but I am still fearful of strangers and may lay down if I feel threatened. I am also apartment-qualified as long as I have a doggy friend!

Transporation

I am currently located in Kansas City, KS. We adopt to families residing in NE, CO, MO, KS, IA, WY, SD, ND, ID, UT, MT, MN, and NW AR. If you own your home, a fenced-in yard is required, but we do adopt to apartments if leash laws are enforced. We do not accept invisible fencing.
