Cowboy

Cowboy is a courageous survivor, about 2 years old, who has overcome immense hardship. He was found tied to a pole, abandoned and with severe wounds, indicating he had been used as a bait dog. Despite his traumatic past, Cowboy is now safe, neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, and receiving medical care. He has begun treatment for heartworm and is on the road to recovery. While he can be cautious with other dogs, he is slowly learning to trust again. He may do best as the only dog in the home, where he can feel secure. Cowboy can take time to warm up to men, but with patience and love, he is ready to find a forever home.
