Bo

Bo is a 4-year-old, 98-pound bi-color German Shepherd who’s basically the total package… if your package includes brains, brawn, and a little bit of sass. This handsome guy is smart, crafty, and always thinking two steps ahead. If there’s a puzzle to solve, a ball to chase, or a job to do—Bo is ALL IN. Fetch? Obsessed. Brain games? Yes, please. Learning new things? He’s already ahead of you.

With his high energy and strong prey drive, Bo is looking for an experienced German Shepherd owner who understands that a dog like him needs structure, activity, and a job to do. He’s not a “Netflix and chill” kind of guy—he’s more “let’s go do something fun and maybe learn a new skill while we’re at it!”

Bo is house-trained, crate-trained, and knows his basic commands—but don’t let that fool you… he’s the kind of dog who will keep you on your toes (in the best way). He’s vocal, expressive, and full of personality—basically your future best friend and daily entertainment all rolled into one.

Ideal Home

Bo would do best in a home without cats or male dogs, but he may enjoy a compatible female dog buddy. Older, German Shepherd-savvy kids could be a great match too.

Bo is a healthy boy with no known health issues.

Training & Support

Bo is house-trained, crate-trained, and knows his basic commands. He is vocal and expressive and will keep you on your toes.

• Dogs and puppies 12 months old or younger: $450
• Adult dogs over 12 months of age: $400
• Senior dogs over 7 years of age qualify for our "Seniors FUREVER" program! Seniors are special to us, so we offer two options:
  • If your heart has a special place for the seniors, you can adopt a senior dog for the regular adoption fee of $400 and this becomes a perpetual fee. You can adopt another SGSDR senior dog at any time from us in the future at NO CHARGE.
  • If you aren't sure about your future adoption capacity, you may adopt your SGSDR senior dog for a reduced adoption fee of $250.

Bo is located in Dallas, TX. Transportation may be available to approved adopters.
