SAMMY

Hi there! I'm Sammy, though my foster mom sometimes calls me 'Sam-Sam' or 'Sambone/Hambone'! I'm about 3 years old and ready to trade in puppy antics for some serious chill time. My foster mom says I've never met a meal I didn't like, but don't worry, I'm no food bully! I take treats gently and am happy to sit and wait for my meals and treats. I'm also a pro at crating when you have to leave, and I'm learning to be a good boy inside when you're gone. I picked up on the "no potty inside" rule in less than a week, and I'm quickly learning that inside means warm furniture, lots of pets, and maybe even sharing your bed! I do bark at strangers or strange noises, but it's usually short-lived and I can be redirected. My favorite things include dogs – I love them all and I'm great at reading their personalities! I also love chasing balls and chewing on my toys and bones. I'm a really good boy and I'm so excited to find my forever home!

Ideal Home

I need a home without cats, as I tend to want to chase them.

Ongoing Health

I am up-to-date on all age-appropriate vaccinations and have received a wellness visit.

Training & Support

I am still learning to adjust to living inside, but I'm a quick learner! I can sometimes bark at new people or noises, but I can be redirected. My squeaky bark for attention is easily redirected.

• The adoption fee is $400, which covers food, vetting, microchip, and spay/neuter surgery.
• An additional $100 courtesy fee applies for Sammy as he is with Pawfect Match Rescue and Rehabilitation.
