Sansa is a delightful little girl, a presumed Chihuahua–Cocker Spaniel mix, born on April 18, 2025, and currently around 10 months old. Weighing approximately 10 lbs, she's a perfect size for a loving companion. Sansa came to us when her family could no longer care for her, but her spirit remains bright and playful. She's eager to find her forever home and start her next chapter.
Ideal Home
Sansa would thrive in a home that provides consistent guidance and love, helping her build confidence and feel secure. She needs a home with a fenced backyard and an active family that enjoys outdoor activities. Families should have a genuine intention to rescue a dog, with an open mind about the needs and behaviors of rescued animals, and be willing to provide the necessary protection and education. Prior experience with dog behavior and training, or a commitment to hiring a trainer, is highly desired. She requires high tolerance and patience for rescued puppies and is not house-trained.

Please note that many of our rescued dogs may require an adjustment period due to past trauma. Patience and understanding are crucial for their rehabilitation and to build trust.
Training & Support
Sansa is crate-trained and is working on her potty training, as she is not house-trained. She may bark at strangers initially but warms up with reassurance. Consistency and positive reinforcement will be key to her continued development and confidence.

- Reference checks will be conducted.
- Upon approval, an adoption contract will be signed, and the adoption fee will be collected to cover vet care, spay/neuter, vaccines, microchip, and food.
Transportation
Sansa is currently being fostered in Matamoros, Mexico. She is available for transport to the East Coast as part of our cross-country trips. Door-to-door delivery is available for a one-time fee of $400 USD. These transport trips are scheduled 3-4 times per year, with a dedicated team handling the journey from Mexico to your home. You will receive real-time updates throughout the transportation process.
