Leo is a three-year-old, neutered male Great Pyrenees who weighs 80 pounds. He's a big, sensitive goofball who is very chill and laid back. Leo loves being outside and enjoys the company of other dogs.
Ideal Home
Leo needs a home with a fenced yard, as he loves to spend time outdoors. He does well with other dogs. Potential adopters should have thoroughly researched the Great Pyrenees breed, as they can be stubborn, prone to barking, and overly protective. They cannot be trusted off-leash and cannot be trained to boundaries. Applicants must be at least 21 years old and have the full agreement of all family members, with everyone ready to bring a dog home now. It is generally preferred to avoid same-sex households, as Pyrs typically do not do well with the same sex.
Ongoing Health
All animals at Wags are up to date on age-appropriate core vaccines, negative for parasites, heartworm, and lyme tested if 6 months or older, microchipped, and have a current health certificate. All dogs will be altered when adoption is finalized.
