About Kalena

Meet Kalena, a 6-year-old Miniature Poodle weighing just 10 pounds. Kalena came to Camo Rescue along with about 10 other dogs when they were surrendered by their breeder. While such a dramatic life change can be overwhelming for many dogs, Kalena embraced her new beginning from day one. She arrived with a pep in her step, a wagging tail, and enough love to share with every person she meets.

Kalena is a happy, playful girl who truly enjoys life to the fullest. Whether she's making new friends, exploring her surroundings, or simply soaking up attention, her joyful personality shines through in everything she does. She has made great progress with her potty training and continues to do very well in that area. Leash walking, however, is still new to her and will require continued patience, consistency, and practice as she learns to navigate the world with confidence.

With her friendly nature and adaptable personality, Kalena could thrive in a variety of homes, from a quiet adult household to a family with older children who understand that her small size makes her a bit fragile. Because of her breeder background, Kalena would do best in a home with another confident, well-adjusted dog who can help show her the ropes and guide her through experiences she may not have encountered before. Adoption fee is: $375

ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com.

Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee.

Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs.
