Meet Yeager! This tall, athletic, and handsome Doberman is brimming with unlimited energy and a whole lot of personality. He's a complex guy who is also obliviously happy, bringing a chaotic but joyful vibe to his surroundings. Yeager is a full-time project dog who is incredibly happy, confident, and always ready to go. He's selectively dog-social, doing great with females and smaller to medium-sized males. He has also done well with cats and older children.

Ideal Home

Yeager needs experienced, active, and consistent humans who will not give up when he inevitably tests every boundary. Doberman or working-breed experience is strongly preferred. If you're looking for a chill, easy dog, Yeager isn't the one, but if you want a high-drive, chaotic, hilarious, and incredibly rewarding project, he's your guy!

Yeager is a deep-chested breed, so awareness of this is required.

Training & Support

Yeager is potty trained but will have accidents indoors and will mark. He doesn't always understand or respect human correction and learns patterns quickly to use them to his advantage, especially around food. He rarely settles, especially around other animals, and destroys beds, feeders, and anything not built for chaos. He eats fast and immediately wants to sprint and jump. Yeager is not untrainable, but he requires someone experienced, structured, and committed to ongoing training. This is not a dog to "figure it out as you go."
