POTOMAC

Meet Potomac! This handsome pup is a Great Pyrenees and Mixed Breed mix, estimated to be a puppy. Potomac is described as gorgeous, soft, sensitive, mellow, and watchful. He loves to play with his siblings and enjoys cuddling up with them. As a guardian breed mix, Potomac has the potential to be very protective and territorial, so early and ongoing socialization with other dogs, people, and animals is crucial for him to thrive. He's independent and can be stubborn, so a patient and understanding owner is a must. He bonds strongly to his home environment and will need secure fencing. Potomac has a thick double coat and is expected to weigh 80 pounds or more when fully grown. His parents were livestock guardians.

A home with a securely fenced yard is essential for Potomac. Due to his guardian breed nature, he needs consistent socialization with other dogs, people, and animals to prevent over-protectiveness.
