Bosco

Hi, I'm Bosco! I'm a 2-year-old French Bulldog with 100% of my Frenchie energy and attitude, even though I'm paralyzed. I have IVDD, but I still have deep pain sensation in my toes and I'm using my legs more and more. I can even stand and take a couple of steps! My foster mom does physiotherapy with me to keep my muscles strong. I am incontinent and wear diapers, and while I do urinate, I can't control when. My foster mom expresses my bladder to ensure it's truly empty and prevent UTIs, which is an easy process she can show you. Like many Frenchies, I have allergies and eat a special food to avoid skin rashes. With this diet and regular baths, my coat is shiny and low-shedding. I'm excellent on a leash in my wheels and love greeting everyone on my walks, especially other dogs and kids. I'm a good apartment dog but will bark at perceived visitors. I'm well-behaved with small children and other animals, and I haven't even tried to eat my human sister's guinea pig! However, I am a rough player, so I wouldn't be a good match for a timid dog or one with low patience.
