BLIND_POLA

Pola is a handsome 4 1/2-year-old German Shepherd mix who has traveled all the way from Azerbaijan, a place where pets often face hardship, to find his loving forever family. Despite being blind, Pola is an incredibly intelligent, gentle, curious, and playful soul. He navigates familiar surroundings with impressive spatial awareness and is a calm, kind dog who truly longs for a family to call his own.

Ideal Home

Pola would be happiest in a home where he can receive plenty of attention. He could do well as the only dog or with one other canine companion. While he has been tested with children and cats and has no food aggression, due to his blindness, we recommend a home with older children only.

Ongoing Health

Pola is blind, but this does not slow him down. He is also sensitive to anesthesia, and therefore, will not be undergoing neutering surgery. He is vaccinated and microchipped.

Training & Support

Pola is well-socialized and has passed all behavioral tests, including with children, cats, and for food aggression. His sensitive nature means he will not be neutered.
