Valentino is a 2-year-old Shepherd Mix with a big heart, a goofy side, and a love for both playtime and companionship. He's a social guy who really wants to make friends and enjoys wrestling, chasing, and bouncing around with his dog pals. While he can be a bit mouthy and awkward in play, he's learning to read canine social cues. After playtime, he's happy to relax with his buddies. With people, Valentino can be excitable and a little bouncy, sometimes trying to jump up. He's not a fan of leashes yet but is learning that they lead to fun outdoor adventures. He has lots of energy and thrives with regular play sessions and walks. In the kennel, Valentino can get stressed and vocal, but outside he's a happy, relaxed boy who shines brightest with love, playtime, and structure. He's eager to please, excited for friendship, and ready to find a home that can help him blossom.

Valentino thrives with regular play sessions and walks. He would do best in a home that can provide him with structure and opportunities for him to play with other dogs who enjoy his energetic style.

Training & Support

Valentino can be mouthy and bouncy with people and is still learning leash manners. He will need continued practice and patience to help him settle into these routines. He is eager to please and will benefit from positive reinforcement.

Valentino is located at Miss Winkles Pet Adoption Center at 85 Temperance Ave, Clovis, CA 93611. We are open for walk-ins Tuesday - Sunday from 11 AM to 5 PM, with adoptions closing at 4:30 PM each day.
