She's the ultimate companion, happiest when she's by your side, exploring the world or cuddling up at the end of the day. She gets along well with other dogs and would be happy as an only dog or with a canine friend.
Ideal Home
Chiffon dreams of a home where she can be your constant shadow, included in everyday life with no long workdays. She thrives on companionship and needs a family that will help her discover the world, taking her on adventures, car rides, and introducing her to new experiences. A fully fenced yard is ideal for her outdoor explorations. She would do best in a home with children aged 8 and older who can help keep her safe. Due to her tendency to be underfoot, a home without young children or individuals with mobility challenges would be best. She may not be suited for apartment living due to her surprisingly loud bark.
Ongoing Health
Chiffon is healthy, spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated. She had some yeast in her ears which is responding to treatment and shows no signs of allergies. A dental cleaning may be needed within the next two years. She could benefit from a light fitness plan to help with weight management.
Training & Support
Chiffon is crate trained and has not shown destructive tendencies, though she is a bit of a hoarder of "treasures." She is sensitive to tone, so patience, kindness, and positive reinforcement are key to her continued blossoming. Harsh corrections will crush her spirit.
