Keri

Keri is a sweet, well-mannered girl with a heart of gold, originally from Kuwait. She had a tough start but was rescued and eventually made her way to us. She was adopted in 2020 but sadly lost her home through no fault of her own. Keri is a very lazy dog who needs a little nudge towards a healthier lifestyle. She's significantly overweight, partly due to a thyroid condition, but mostly from overfeeding and under-exercising. She generally gets along with dogs her own size, but she's not fond of yappy little dogs and would prefer to keep to herself. Keri is also not a fan of cats. Her true desire is a dedicated person to call her own. If you're a bit of a homebody and want a loyal companion for quiet nights in, Keri is your girl. She's a devoted one-person dog who will love you completely, seeing everyone else as just an interloper.

Ideal Home

Keri would thrive in a home with a moderately lazy owner who will ensure she gets a walk or two a day and is not overfed. She would prefer a home without cats and is not a fan of yappy little dogs.

Ongoing Health

Keri has a thyroid condition and is also overweight due to overfeeding and under-exercising. Her ideal weight is in the mid-40s, and she is currently about 25% above that.

Training & Support

Keri is exceedingly well-mannered and knows many commands. She needs an owner committed to a consistent feeding and exercise routine to help her reach a healthier weight.
