Lil Sis is ready to find her forever family and travel to a community that will truly cherish her! She's a sweet 8-month-old, 8-pound Chihuahua/Schnauzer mix who is people-loving, quiet, and incredibly sweet. You might be wondering where Lil Sis got her name—her siblings were adopted quickly, and now it's her turn to find her perfect match! She came into our care through no fault of her own when her previous owner's landlord wouldn't allow her to stay.
For a young pup, Lil Sis has an incredibly mature and gentle demeanor. She absolutely loves people and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. She's a naturally quiet girl who takes life in stride. She does beautifully in her crate and goes potty immediately when let outside, giving us a strong feeling she's already housebroken! While she hasn't been officially tested on a leash yet, she's smart, eager to please, and sure to pick it up quickly.
Ideal Home
Because Lil Sis is a delicate 8 pounds, she would thrive best in a home without very small children to ensure she stays safe during playtime. She's the perfect size for apartment living, cozy couch cuddles, and would be a perfect companion for daily adventures.
Ongoing Health
Lil Sis is spayed and up-to-date on all essential vaccinations (Rabies, DHLPP, and Bordetella). She tested negative for heartworm on July 8th. She has been dewormed and is kept on monthly flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. To ensure she is in tip-top shape for her new family, she will be microchipped and receive a fresh fecal exam and a certified Health Certificate, all performed within 10 days of her transport date.

Lil Sis is a smart, eager-to-please pup who is sure to pick up leash walking skills quickly.
