Peter is a sweet pupper who is eager to find his forever home! He's a young boy with so much to see and do, and he's looking for humans to share all the adventures with. Peter loves long sniffy walks, romps with his pup pals, and is ready to learn new things in dog school. Most of all, he wants to know he's safe and loved in his own home. In return, he promises to always make you smile and give you endless love and loyalty.
Peter is a Sato, a dog from Puerto Rico, and he's a gentle companion who blossoms once he gets to know you. He's a little shy at first, but his loving personality shines through as his confidence grows. He happily seeks out pets and snuggles from his favorite people. He lives peacefully with other dogs and has enjoyed dog park visits and playdates. He has also done well with children and has great manners around the house. He's comfortable in his crate and can be left home alone without issue.
Ideal Home
Peter needs a home with a confident, welcoming resident dog who can show him the ropes and help him adjust to his new environment. Dogs from Puerto Rico need a lot of socialization, so his new family should be very committed to helping him gain confidence. He would do best with either a resident dog, or a family who can ensure he regularly socializes with other dogs through walks, dog parks, or doggy daycare.
Ongoing Health
Peter is a young, healthy dog. All of our dogs receive routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter, prior to adoption.
Training & Support
Peter is working on his crate training. He may be a little shy at first, but with patience and positive reinforcement, his confidence will grow. Regular socialization with other dogs will be key to his success.
