Maximus is a 2-year-old Husky weighing 54.7lbs. He was found wandering a shopping center parking lot, happily greeting everyone he met, just looking for someone to love. This tells you everything about him! Max is a total people pup who wants nothing more than to be by your side. He’ll follow you from room to room like your fluffy little shadow before plopping down next to you, perfectly content just being close. For a husky, he’s got a wonderfully calm and easygoing vibe… just as happy chilling at home as he is heading out for a walk or adventure. ✨
Max is friendly with everyone he meets, does great with kids, and gets along well with most other dogs. He already knows commands like sit, paw, and stay, is potty trained, and walks nicely on leash, unless a squirrel or cat tries to grab his attention 🐿️😄. He truly thrives on companionship and being part of your everyday life. Whether you’re running errands, relaxing on the couch, or heading out for some fresh air, Max is happiest right there with you.

Max thrives on companionship and being part of your everyday life. He would do best in a home where someone is around more often or willing to help him build confidence when he's alone. A friendly dog sibling would be a huge bonus for him, too! 🐶💕

Max is kennel and potty trained and walks nicely on a leash. He is still learning that being alone isn't scary, so he'd benefit from continued support in this area.

Transportation
Max is located in Houston, TX. Transport is included in the adoption fee and may vary to your state or a neighboring state. We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states. You will be able to track the van using the app Life360 and receive updates from transport along the way. You must be able to use one of these available services to follow your adopted dog on transport.
