Berm (FKA Orion)

Berm (formerly Orion) is a charming 4-year-old, 40 lb neutered male Terrier mix who is ready to fill your home with sweetness and cuddles! He was lovingly raised in a foster home and then adopted as a puppy, where he learned immense love and patience. While he can be a bit shy and anxious around new people, Berm warms up quickly and becomes an absolute cuddle bug. He's a medium-energy boy who enjoys walks, hikes, beach adventures, playing fetch, and napping in the sun. He also has a quirky love for wearing sweaters and will perform "sits" for treats (especially roast chicken!). Berm is a well-trained pup, excelling in potty and leash training, and has even graduated from obedience training and doggy daycare. He's a bit of a sock thief but is otherwise a low-maintenance companion who loves his people and can be a bit of a shadow.

Ideal Home

Berm would thrive in a patient and loving home with a mellow atmosphere. He needs a family who can allow him time to decompress and settle in. An ideal home would have a dog buddy mentor who can help him with his anxiety. He is not fond of kitties. Older children would be best suited for him.

Ongoing Health

Berm takes Prozac daily for his anxiety. A 90-day supply is approximately $20, depending on market value.

Training & Support

Berm requires ongoing separation anxiety training and would greatly benefit from having a calm, dog companion to look to for guidance.
