Shadow

Shadow is a handsome 4-year-old boy who has been with us for quite some time. He came to us after his owner sadly passed away, and unfortunately, there was no one in the family to care for him. Shadow can be a little shy when meeting new people, but with patience and love, our staff have earned his trust. He absolutely loves long walks on our hiking trails, soaking up the sun in the yard, and getting those special butt scratches from his favorite humans. We are still working on his food aggression, and it's a process that requires a bit more time and understanding. Shadow would likely do well with another laid-back dog, and we think he might even be okay with cats. If you're interested in giving Shadow his forever home, we do require several visits beforehand.

Ideal Home

Shadow would thrive in a home with a fenced-in backyard and an inside kennel for his comfort. A nice, quiet environment would be perfect for him.

Training & Support

Shadow is working through some food aggression, which is progressing a bit slowly. We highly recommend a training course for both the potential adopter and Shadow, as this would be incredibly beneficial for building a strong bond.
