Trix

Meet Trix, a charming 8-month-old, 35-pound Pitbull mix with the sweetest, smartest soul. Trix was surrendered to a shelter with her brother and, while he's found his home, Trix needed a little extra time in foster care to build her confidence. She was undersocialized early in life and is naturally shy around new people, preferring to find a safe, quiet spot when unsure. However, she has never shown any signs of aggression. Trix is incredibly observant and learns quickly, mastering the doggy door in just a couple of days! With patience and trust-building, she blossoms, even showing playful moments and seeking comfort with her humans. She's a quiet, gentle spirit who will reward your commitment with extraordinary devotion.

Ideal Home

Trix needs a home where someone is around often, as she's still a puppy and requires consistent time to build trust. She would thrive with a confident canine companion to learn from, though a home without another dog would need a thoughtful socialization plan.

Ongoing Health

Trix is spayed and up-to-date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Trix is housebroken, crate-trained, and is learning to walk on a leash. While she has been around children and is shy at first, her history with cats is unknown. Her patience and compassion will be key to her development.

Transporation

Trix is currently in San Antonio, Texas. She can be transported once an adopter is matched. Transports run every few weeks.
