Panda is a sweet, shy boy with so many wonderful layers to discover! He's about two years old and weighs around 50 pounds. We believe he's a Pittie mix, named for his handsome black and white coat and his mellow nature. Panda is the epitome of a rescue dog, ready to form a deep bond with his forever family and reward you with endless unconditional love. He absolutely adores toys, chew bones, and his daily walks, enjoying the simple pleasures in life. Panda thrives on routine and structure, appreciating the predictability of a stable home. He's a professional couch potato and loves to snuggle up close to his humans at night, though he's also perfectly happy in his kennel when you're away. He is fully house-trained!
Ideal Home
Panda would thrive in a quiet, serene suburban or rural home. He is your dog's best friend and absolutely loves the company of other dogs, especially playful females. He gains a lot of confidence from his canine companions, so he'll do best in a home with at least one other dog. While he did well with children aged 5 and up in his foster home, he would prefer a home where children are respectful and sweet with him. Panda is not recommended for a home with kitties.
Ongoing Health
Panda is a rescue and comes with all standard vetting, including vaccinations, deworming, flea and heartworm prevention, and he is microchipped. His adoption fee includes his spay/neuter surgery.
Training & Support
Panda is leash-trained and enjoys tandem walks, bonding with his people through exercise. He is also a seasoned and patient car passenger. He is still learning about life with humans and a stable home, and will need an adopter who is patient and willing to allow him a full decompression period. Our behavior team and his foster mom are available to offer guidance.

Transporation
Panda is currently in Texas and can be transported to various states across the US and Canada through our dedicated transport service. A list of transport states is available, and Canadian adopters will need to pick up in Bellingham, WA or Brattleboro, VT. An additional transport surcharge of $87 will apply.
