Blaze is a handsome Alaskan Malamute, about two years old and weighing 72 pounds. He was found wandering the streets of Harris County, TX, and taken to a crowded shelter. Despite his difficult past, Blaze remains a trusting and hopeful boy, eager to find a family to call his own. He longs to give and receive unconditional love, and is ready to commit himself fully to his forever home.

Ongoing Health

Blaze is up to date on all vaccines and has been neutered. He previously tested positive for heartworm but has successfully completed the slow-kill treatment and is on the path to recovery.

Blaze is a resilient dog who, despite his past experiences, has maintained his trust in people. He is ready to embark on his new life with a loving and dedicated family.
