Meet Cody! 🐾 Cody is a handsome Golden Retriever who's looking for a very special forever home where he can truly thrive. He's back with us for a fresh start, and while his first home didn't provide the structure he needed, leading to a bite history, he's already made fantastic progress. Cody completed a board-and-train program and is currently with a dedicated foster who is continuing his work with a professional trainer. He's a smart, eager-to-learn boy who loves to stay active, and with the right guidance, he has so much potential to live a happy, balanced life.

Ideal Home

Cody will need an experienced and committed adopter who can provide the structure, leadership, and ongoing training he needs. He thrives with an active lifestyle, requiring at least 1.5 hours of daily exercise and enrichment. Adopters must not have children in the home and cannot have other dogs unless they have extensive experience with behavioral cases.

Ongoing Health

Cody has a bite history from a previous home, but he has completed a board-and-train program and continues to work with a professional trainer.

Training & Support

Cody will need continued training and a consistent, structured environment. Adopters must be committed to working with a trainer.
