Feebie (Benefactor Dog)

Feebie is a 2-year-old, 6-pound Yorkipoo whose story is one of incredible resilience. Found as a stray while pregnant and in very poor condition, she defied the odds to bring her "miracle" puppy, Chevy, into the world. Feebie is a dedicated and protective momma, who has passed her spirited, high-energy nature to her son. Beyond her role as a nurturer, Feebie is a playful soul who loves to frolic. She is deeply bonded to Chevy and is looking for a home where she can either be the only dog or be adopted alongside her "miracle" boy.

Ideal Home

Feebie requires a home with a very secure yard as she can be a flight risk and has a tendency to run. She must be walked on a leash using a well-fitted harness. While she does well with children, she would thrive best in a home with older, dog-savvy kids rather than young toddlers.

Ongoing Health

Feebie will come fully vetted, up-to-date on all vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed before heading to her forever home.

Training & Support

Because Feebie can be a flight risk, it's important to ensure she is always secured with a well-fitted harness and leash when outside of a secure yard.

Take Paws Rescue is based in New Orleans, LA. We save dogs from high-kill shelters across the South, owner surrenders, and discarded dogs with uncertain futures. All of our animals live in foster homes where they are socialized and well cared for.
