Meet NorthWoods Rat Terriers. I’m from Central Oklahoma and have been messing with these small terriers for 15 years. I started breeding AKC rats a few years ago. We strive to breed to the physical AKC standard but breeding to retain that hunt and drive they were originally bred for. With the use of no deckers blood, our dogs are 18-24lbs. AKC proudly supports dedicated and responsible breeders. We encourage all prospective puppy owners to do their research and be prepared with questions to ask the breeder. Make sure you are not only choosing the right breed for you, but also that you’re getting it from the right individual.
