Rascal Flatts

My name is Rascal Flatts, and I'm a black and tan dapple Dachshund mix, guessed to be around 3 years old and weighing about 19 pounds. I came to DDRTX from a difficult situation, but despite my rough start, I'm a gentle and sweet soul. I can be a little shy and hesitant with new people, so I'm not quite a lap dog yet, but I'm curious and slowly learning to trust my foster mom. I'm an attentive and smart boy, and my foster mom can see so much potential in me – I can't wait to show off my full personality!

Ideal Home

A home where I can continue to build my confidence would be wonderful. I'm doing well with other dogs and seem to enjoy their company.

Ongoing Health

I was treated successfully for fleas, parasites, and demodectic mange.

Training & Support

I'm a well-behaved boy who doesn't pull on the leash and has had no indoor potty accidents so far. I also sleep through the night in my crate and have been doing well with it. I get a little nervous in new situations, but I've been doing great in the car.
