Mara & Emily

Meet Mara and Emily, two bonded sisters who are 12 years young and the sweetest pair you'll ever encounter! These lovely ladies weigh about 11 pounds each and are ready to bring joy to your home. They are up-to-date on vaccinations and have been spayed.

Ideal Home

Mara and Emily would thrive in a quiet home where they can enjoy their golden years. They are a little shy initially but warm up quickly to new people. They get along with other small dogs, but their compatibility with cats and larger dogs is unknown. They do not do well with stairs.

Ongoing Health

Mara has IVDD and receives a monthly Librella injection to maintain her mobility. She can get around on her own and does not need assistance with pottying. Both girls have undergone dental procedures due to previous severe dental disease. Emily has had all her teeth removed, and Mara has a few remaining. Consequently, they are on a soft food diet.

Training & Support

Both Mara and Emily are potty-trained when taken out regularly and are also crate-trained. They sleep through the night and walk well on a leash. They enjoy leisurely activities like "lizard hunting" in the backyard and basking in the sun. Mara uses a dog ramp to access her favorite spot on the couch.
