Meet Lea! This 6-7 month old Lab/Heeler mix (our best guess) is a diamond in the rough, rescued after being found scared, hungry, and covered in fleas and ticks. Despite her tough start, Lea is a ray of sunshine, greeting everyone with a wagging tail and a heart full of love. She absolutely adores other dogs and people, embodying the friendly and affectionate nature of a Lab. Lea is ready to leave her past behind and find the loving family she truly deserves. We anticipate she'll grow to be a well-proportioned companion, around 50-65 pounds, perfect for both outdoor adventures and cozy couch snuggles.

Lea is currently being fostered in Brownsville, Texas. We offer bi-weekly transport to approved adopters in the following locations:
