Meet Nala, your Sweet, Silly Little Shadow! She's a charming Chihuahua mix who weighs around 20lbs and was likely born on February 12, 2023. Nala's journey began on the streets, where she created a cozy haven from a cardboard box and blankets, often following people, especially children, in hopes of being chosen.
Now, safe and thriving in foster care, Nala is ready to find the loving forever home she truly deserves. She's bursting with personality – playful, affectionate, and delightfully goofy. Nala adores her toys and has been seen tossing them up to play fetch with herself!

Nala is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed.
Training & Support
Nala is 95% potty trained and fully crate trained. She already knows "sit" and "crate," and is currently working on "stay" and "wait." She walks well on a leash but is still learning to focus as everything around her is so exciting. While shy initially, she warms up within about 30 minutes, becoming a loyal shadow eager for affection.

Transporation
Nala is located in Houston, TX. Transport is included in the adoption fee and can be arranged to nearby towns or states. Please note that pickup locations for transported dogs may vary. We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states. These are ground transports using third-party vehicles converted for dog transport. Adopters can track their dog's journey using the Life360 app and will receive updates from transport services. Facebook chats are also available for tracking information.
