Meet Juice, a charming 4-year-old, 56 lb Black Mouth Cur mix with soulful eyes and a heart full of love to give. He's a sweet boy who thrives on quiet companionship and expresses his affection through gentle head and paw rests – a true love language! Juice can be a bit shy with new people, but with slow, kind introductions, he blossoms into a deeply loyal and devoted friend.
Ideal Home
Juice would be happiest in a calm, quiet home with soft-spoken, patient adults who understand that healing takes time. He needs a cat-free environment as he will chase them. He would also do best as the only dog in the home, where he can receive all the love and attention.
Ongoing Health
Juice has shown some food aggression with other dogs, but with stability and routine, he has made great progress. He eats separately in his crate and may still guard high-value treats, which can be managed by respecting his boundaries.
Training & Support
Juice is working on leash pulling when excited and responds best to patience and kindness; harsh corrections can make him cower. He is always crated when left alone due to his love for chewing, and he sleeps well in his crate at night. He has had some potty accidents and may need assistance getting into a car, but he always enjoys a ride!
