Erie (D2011)

Meet Erie! This adorable Lab/Hound mix was born on April 30, 2026, and is part of the Great Lakes litter, who were transferred to us from a rural VA shelter. Erie currently weighs between 10-16 lbs but is expected to grow into a large dog. He's a super sweet pup who is very playful with his littermates. Erie is the most gentle of the group; he enjoys a good wrestle but will walk away and entertain himself if things get too rough. He recently discovered the joy of the puppy pool and can have a blast playing in it for hours! Erie is very in tune with his foster mom and absolutely loves to be held and snuggled.

Ideal Home

Erie is currently being fostered in a home with other dogs and regularly plays with children, so he would likely do well in a similar environment. As with all puppies, he'll need time to adjust to a new home and its expectations.

Ongoing Health

Erie is a healthy young puppy.

Training & Support

Erie is still a puppy and will need continued training and socialization to help him grow into a well-adjusted adult dog. Remember, a tired puppy is a happy puppy, so daily exercise is key!
